Yes, yes, I know, there are plenty of things you can put on the Con side of the Twiggy list (such as, "May have been the first modern cause of anorexia" and "Can currently be seen on America's Next Top Model"), but you can't deny the fact that she was hugely influential on mid-'60s style and, by being the first working class model ever in Britain, helped to start the idea that fashion is for everybody.
